Waiting in love

Is waiting in love really sweet? Whoever said this must have not experienced it, I think. I do not find it sweet at all. I think it will be sweet only if the object of your waiting materializes. Then you may sigh and say “Okay, all is well that ends well”. Your waiting then at least qualifies to be sweet, because it has ended on a happy note.

Otherwise it is anything but “sweet”. Actually, prolonged waiting will make one depressed. But don’t ask me what it is like if you meet someone after prolonged waiting? Will it be even sweeter? This seems to be fallacious.

Wait. I will let you know when I experience it.

Love at first sight

This does not happen, this is just stuff straight from movies and novels.

Is this your reaction?

But think again!

Is it so? I am actually for it. Here is why…

Suppose you meet this guy or girl, whom you find very attractive only to realize later that he or she is not all what you wish her to be. The inevitable follows. You may not actually end up “loving” him or her.

Let us consider a scenario where people who feel attracted initially find that they have common interests as well, which helps develop their relationship into a stronger bond. In such cases, we do not call it bad after all. Do we?

Then why against love at first sight?

It all boils down to this. It is okay to find someone attractive initially (without this I doubt if one really pursues the matter as such). Find more about him or her later as you get to know the person more, before deciding what exactly you want.

But for all this to happen I still feel “love at first sight” has some role to play. How you take it further depends purely on you  Your personality counts a lot here.

Why smile never leaves my face?

It may sound funny. As they say, “Truth is stranger than fiction.”

Now a days it seems the smile never leaves my face.

Is it because I am happy with very thought of him or is it because of his own infectious nature (passed on to me).

I am not sure.

All I am sure of is one thing, if his very thought can set my heart aflutter, make me feel I am on cloud nine, his presence in my life no doubt will make me ecstatic.

And I am looking forward to it.

The Big Decision

In love as in other things, the main players involved should not have any kind of reservations whatsoever on what they feel. That is very important. If either one of them feel they are not ready with the idea yet, due to any reasons, better forget it and not pursue it any more. If both feel genuinely interested, its only other reasons that keep them away like lack of time etc, there exists a chance for revival.

Then comes the role of others, whose acceptance is also significant if not key to the whole affair, as they are supposed to provide moral support in times of need.

One cannot be hasty in these matters. One has to think over properly, talk it out and apply extra caution before taking any decision, because the decision you take could be life-changing not only for you but for others as well. You should know what you want. This is the key to one’s happiness, and applies not only to love but to other areas of life as well.

So, All the best!!!
